The Axopar is your ticket to explore every sparkling corner of Sydney Harbour—from the quiet bays of middle harbour to the buzzing beaches of Manly, under the iconic Harbour Bridge, and all the way to Olympic Park if you were so inclined. Want to picnic in secluded Chowder bay? Cruise past the Opera House like a VIP? Anchor in Store Beach for a swim? Go for it—your route, your rules. Just one golden rule: stay inside the Sydney Heads.
🚤 Why Go Self-Drive? Freedom vs. Full-Service
Self-Drive = Pure Adventure
- Be the captain
- Go where you want, when you want—no schedule, no compromises
- Privacy perfected—it’s just you and your crew (and maybe a curious seal)
- Feels more like your boat—because it kinda is (for the day, at least)
Skippered Hire = Stress-Free Splashing
- No license? No problem—just sit back and point at landmarks
- Local expertise (translation: they know where the good fish & chips are)
- Bonus co-pilot for when you do want to try steering (wink)
The Verdict? Want total freedom? Self-drive. Want zero hassle? Add a skipper. Either way, you win. ⚓
Pro tip: First-timers often do a skippered hire first, then come back to conquer the helm themselves!
